Description

Situated in rural South Oxfordshire close to Henley-on-Thames, this award winning traditional village pub and restaurant with 4 stars, silver accolade accommodation is looking for an exceptional Sous Chef to join its small team.

The cuisine is modern British classics with eastern and continental influences using fresh, locally sourced produce. Menus change frequently to match the seasons and you would be expected to contribute to their content.

The aim is to give our customers superb food, beautifully presented in a relaxed, friendly and informal atmosphere.

You will have several years experience working in a 2 rosette standard environment or above and must be able to demonstrate a passion for food. Additionally, you will be committed and a bit of a perfectionist; be confident of your own abilities and driven to achieve success; be organised, hard working and cope well under pressure; be capable of standing in for the Head Chef when necessary and be able to interface well with front of house staff.

You will either be currently working as a Sous Chef or a Junior Sous Chef with some years of experience looking to make a step up.
